You will learn:

American Red Cross Child and Infant CPR/AED and First Aid with or without 2 year certification.

Anatomy, contraindications, acupressure points to use and avoid in pregnancy. Safe and effective massage techniques, comfort measures and positions for labor using birth balls, chairs and massage tables.

Infant massage techniques for help with gas and soothing.

$225 per couple without Red Cross 2 year certification.

$325 per couple with Red Cross 2 year certification.

Open to 4 couples or contact me for private in home training.

The Pediatric CPR/AED and First aid class is a blended learning class and you will be emailed a link to set up an account in the Red Cross learning center to complete the home study portion online prior to attending the in person skills session.  To earn the 2 year Red Cross certification the online portion must be completed and passed prior to class.

Each individual needs to complete the home study separately to get certified you can do it together under one log in if you don’t need the certification.  If you do not need the certification the class is the same and viewing the online home study before class is recommended.

Carrie Curtis has been practicing and teaching Hawaiian Massage for pregnancy since 1998 and has trained and worked as a DONA Certified birth doula and ICEA certified child birth educator in exercise for pregnancy.  She specializes in helping people avoid artificial induction through massage and education.  She is also a Licensed Training Provider with the American Red Cross offering private and group training in Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid as well as Babysitter’s classes.
