For centuries the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage has been used as a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy way of life. The strokes are long and flowing, using forearms and elbows, and giving the feeling of many hands on the body at once.

Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.

You Will Learn:

• The history and philosophy surrounding this work including the practice of ho’oponopono, and its role in healing.
• Breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential.
• Lomi Lomi massage techniques for the whole body
• Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body.

Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Introduction to Pohaku Wela Hawaiian Hot Stone Massage Thursday March 26 2026 6 hours 10am-5pm €195

Traditionally the Hawaiians use all of the elements in nature for healing, earth, air, water, fire, plants and stones. Heated stones are placed on the body to prepare the muscles for massage. Then the stones are used to massage the body with the long rhythmic strokes of lomi lomi for a warm, deep uniquely immersive relaxation experience.

Students learn the correct placement, handling, safety and contraindications of Hawaiian hot stone massage, as well as where and how to select stones to use in treatment. A variety of techniques are offered with supervised practice and a chance to perform a full body routine.

Students get a workbook and a certificate for 6 hours of training.

Classes for Professional therapists with prior Lomi Lomi training and my returning students.

Intermediate Lomi Lomi March 21-22 2026 10 hours 11am-5pm €350

Students with prior lomi lomi training with other instructors may be able to attend on a case by case basis.  This class builds upon the foundations learned in the basic class and connects the techniques into flowing full body sequence that you can use as a routine or customize to the needs of your client.  Students get a workbook and a certificate for 10 hours of training.

Taking both the basic and intermediate workshops earns 20 NCBTMB CE hours, 20 CPD points with the CThA in the UK and 20 CPE points with massage and myotherapy Australia.

Advanced Lomi Lomi March 28-30 2026 16 hours

11am-5pm 28 March  & 10:30am-5:00pm 29&30 March  €500

In the advanced class we dive into the spiritual, mental and emotional root causes of illness. We explore several different approaches to working with all body types and specific conditions. We open the day with mediation, hula movement, chanting and breath work and close with self care.

This is a more traditional, ritualized approach than the basic and intermediate classes for those who want to deepen their practice. We also learn more advanced full body strokes, under body work on plastic sheets and joint mobilizations and stretching.

To attend this class you must have graduated from one of my prior trainings and received permission to advance. Due to the differences in Hawaiian massage styles and lineages, prior training with other teachers does not qualify you to attend this class.

Students get a certificate for 16 hours of training.  UK students earn 10 CPD points with the CThA.

Students can qualify through either the March 2026 basic and/or intermediate or have attended one of my previous 3-10 day trainings anywhere in the world. 

The Intermediate and Advanced Lomi Lomi  classes are only open to trained professional massage therapists and bodyworkers so you will never learn at the pace of or have to trade massage with an untrained partner.

Massage therapists, PTs, OTs Chiropractors, Rolfers and professional bodyworkers with a foundational training in anatomy and hands on modalities welcome.
